Alex has been coaching leaders, in the adoption of Lean and Agile practices to achieve high throughput of business value, and building high-performance agile teams, in Fortune 500 companies, for over 20 years. Alex is an organizational agility coach helping others be better, quicker, and more effective today than yesterday.


Alex believes that real, long lasting, transformation occurs only when the change effort is both top-down enabled and bottom-up driven. When coaching organizations, he focuses primarily on three aspects: (1) transforming teams to deliver business valued solutions faster, cheaper, and better, (2) encouraging and guiding managers through the process change initiative, and (3) helping senior managers and executives succeed by becoming catalytic leaders and creating environments where people can experience joy, self-expression, partnership, and satisfaction from completion of challenging and meaningful work.

He strives to find a balance between theory and reality and uses a combination of approaches -- agile methods, lean thinking, Kanban, Theory of Constraints -- to make the change stick. His workshops and training classes reflect this wide-breadth as well -- courses address the four major areas affected: execution and delivery, product definition, management and leadership development, aligning organizational structures of fulfillment in support of the change initiative.

Alex has coached leaders, managers, and teams at Bank of America, Crown, Kaiser Permanente, Unisys, Symantec, Intuit, IGT, Cisco, Capital Group, TIAA-CREF, Fidelity Investments, Standard & Poor's, Aetna, Société Générale, Mary Kay, and Travelocity. He has also been accountable for successful delivery of agile projects at Standard & Poor's, NCL, JP Morgan, and Turner Broadcasting.


Alex's education includes an Executive Leadership and Change Management certification from Cornell University, an MBA from Xavier University, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Bangalore University.
